Meet Nicole...
There are many reasons one enters the field of massage. I have been interested in Massage Therapy since 1995. I had been experiencing my own back pain and was looking for relief.
My mother highly recommended her massage therapist and after one session I was hooked on the healing. I knew then I wanted to assist others and that my purpose in life is to help others return to wholeness. In 1999 I attended my first class in Stockton called Touching for Health. The owner and instructor Dodi Baker, was an R.N. of 20 years. Ever since that first class, I have hungered for more knowledge and more techniques that would assist me in my quest to fulfill my purpose.
My education started off on a very medically centric massage note. I graduated in 1999 with my certificate in Massage Therapy. I was aching for more knowledge and headed to the bay area for advanced classes in San Anselmo. The Alive and Well School of Massage in Marin Country was a wonderful experience. I took several advanced classes there, including TMJ release, Deep Tissue, Acupressure and Cranial Sacral. Still, I wanted to reach people on another level, a deeper level.
I started taking classes on chakra meditation. I was also introduced to the purest essential oils and started using them daily. I found them very beneficial to my own healing and started using them with my clients during their sessions. I have taught classes on Aromatherapy in the Central Valley since 2001 in homes and other intimate settings. These interactions only spurred me on to see what else was possible.
In 2002 I decided to go back to school to obtain my Holistic Health Practitioner Certificate. I achieved that goal and have over 1000 hours of Holistic Health education. I love helping others obtain relief from daily stress, overwhelm and physical pain. I am passionate about treating the whole person and helping others find peace and balance in their physical, mental and emotional bodies.
I have also been an active part of a personal development group training called Evolution for the past 7 years. In volunteering with this event I have obtained valuable skills and a myriad of tools. These tools relate to healing from past trauma, relationship dynamics, self and ego, and the many layers that affect human nature. I have shared meditations classes locally and also in Costa Rica with Namaste Rafting and Yoga adventures in 2012.
In 2016 I was introduced to a modality called Access Consciousness the Bars. This powerful, yet gentle touch therapy includes light touching in specific spots on one's head and aides recipients in releasing stored trauma & energy. Common side effects after a session are increased mental clarity, peace, and deep relaxation. While others may experience profound insight in a dream-like state. I LOVE running peoples Bars.
With my toolbox full to the brim, I am more confident than ever that I can provide a unique healing experience for my clients. An experience that focuses on and treats the whole self. All performed with the utmost gentleness and loving kindness.
